About CIRC Delaware

The Commercial-Industrial Realty Council of New Castle County (CIRC) is a non-profit organization which brings together members of the Delaware Valley community who are in a variety of fields relating to commercial and industrial real estate. Our meetings allow a forum for members and their guests to network and keep abreast of the latest real estate and business transactions in the community.

Included in our membership, but not limited to this group, are commercial and industrial brokers, property managers, appraisers, architects, engineers, attorneys, construction managers, real estate consultants, corporate real estate managers, developers, economic development specialists, interior designers/space planners, leasing agents, lenders, utility/energy service specialists, and others closely related to commercial real estate.

CIRC is organized by a board of directors composed of volunteers from its membership. This board arranges for speakers, contacts members of the state legislature on issues of concern to the membership, arranges courses for credit toward real estate licensing continuing education, and coordinates with similar organizations for joint meetings and networking opportunities.

We meet each month from January to June and September to December. Lunch meetings begin at 11:30 a.m. with networking social time, followed by lunch at noon, running until 1:30. We usually have a speaker address a topic of mutual interest to the membership. The location of meetings varies and is announced on the invitation form, which is sent out by email within two weeks of each event. Attendees are requested to RSVP the week before the meeting ONLINE, by E-MAIL, or MAIL. Cancellations must be received a minimum of 48 hours in advance to avoid payment in full. Payment is due by online credit card purchase or cash or check which may be mailed or paid "at the door."

Annual Membership dues are $90 per individual and apply to the individual only, not the company. CIRC's membership renewal is due January 1. Members can also renew online for a $10 discount by December 15 or at the full rate after Jan. 1 of each calendar year. Online profiles and membership benefits become inactive on February 28 if not renewed.

Guests and non-members are welcome to attend our luncheons, dinners and other events on occasion. Non-member rates for meal fees and education classes are slightly higher than that charged to members for events attended.

Questions about membership, requests for our lease documents, questions about upcoming events, continuing education classes, etc. should be directed to our business manager, Janet (Sharpless) Pippert, by phone 302-633-1705 or e-mail at
